MAAS Open Studio, SEE YOU TOMORROW 2021

SEE YOU TOMORROW – An Open Studio

This took place between 21st January 2021 – 21st February 2021

MA Art and Science students were mostly working from their home-studios. With tighter studio spaces they collaborated with co-habiting species, worked with diverse responsive matter and made experiments in their living spaces.

Giving full attention to their surroundings, each student’s work developed to explore variations of possible futures.

SEE YOU TOMORROW invited the audience to see how artists make work by combining their creative practice with scientific research and what happens in the process.

The map navigated those to public places frequented by artists on the course. If you happened to be in the area close to their dot on the map, then directions to find an object temporarily placed by the artist, and use as a QR Code portal to their virtual studio were available. If these locations were local to you* then the audience was invited to try visiting these places physically to have an embodied experience of each and every spot chosen by the artists, and then share your moments with us using #SeeYouTomorrow #MAAS21 #artandscience
